As you ascend the stairway to your luxury log cabin in the Smokies, you will feel as if you are ascending the 'Stairway to Heaven'. Heaven awaits you up top with a wrap around deck that has a hot tub and bar height table with chairs for dining alfresco under the stars, a charcoal grill for grilling those perfect steaks, burgers, and chicken.
You will be awed by vaulted great room with the wonderful view, corner wood burning fireplace, a great interior and peaceful atmosphere. The rough hewn beams, log and chinking add to the total Smoky Mountains country aura of this log cabin. You will want to stop, sit a while, and just bask in the beauty and warmth of your surroundings, and look out the window at the spectacular view! The living room has a smart tv and Blu-ray DVD provided. Adjacent to the living room is a full size pool table ready for you to test your skill and challenge your partner. At night, you can stargaze from the hammock on the upper deck or experience true mountain romance as you and your companion relax in the hot tub while admiring the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee.
BEDROOM
After a day of activities, the upstairs loft bedroom with its comfortable king size bed will lull you into dreamland. The bedroom includes a smart tv and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower, large vanity, and a soaking tub. The bedroom has a catwalk that overlooks the great room and leads to the deck equipped with glider rocker benches and a hammock.

The home features 2 full bathrooms. Primary bedroom en-suite, main level bathroom with shower and laundry
KITCHEN
Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen to prepare anything from a snack to a gourmet meal. Preparation of meals is a breeze and cleanup is too with the automatic dishwasher.

This cabin is in the Chalet Village, so you will have free access to 3 clubhouses, all with outdoor pools and 2 with tennis courts.
THINGS TO DO
If you choose to enjoy some of the great restaurants available in Gatlinburg they are only a short drive down the mountain.
Lots of year round activities await you in the Smokies. There is hiking and picnicking in Cades Cove, Chimney Tops, Mount LeConte, or Newfound Gap. Ober Gatlinburg is just minutes away. In the winter months, you will want to hit slopes for the only ski slopes in TN or do some snow boarding, skiing, or tubing. The ice skating arena is open all year, restaurants, and shops, too. The area has LOTS of attractions, shows, eateries and shopping and new things are being added every year.

Kelli was a great host. She was super responsive and helpful when we reached out. The cabin has a spectacular view and is super conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin does need some updating. The furniture on the deck was uncomfortable and very worn. One of the chairs broke when we sat on it. The cabin could’ve also been cleaner. There was a lot of dust on the walls. Some of the appliances did not work fully (water in fridge did not work, microwave light didn’t work, etc). The cabin overall was pretty dark. There are not a lot of lights in the kitchen and some didn’t work. Also, the bare minimum was included. We didn’t realize that we had to bring our own shampoo and conditioner. It also did not include any tissues or enough toilet paper for our five nights stay. Overall, I recommend the host, the view from this cabin, and the location of this cabin. However, it does need some updating as the pictures don’t really match what you see when you get there.
this was a last minute stay we booked the night before, and we are SO glad we ended up here. wonderful house, amazing views, and the host was extremely communicative and helpful! they even offered us to stay another night, but we couldn’t due to work. we absolutely would’ve taken that opportunity if we could. we saw FOUR bears in 2 days, and one did try to get into my car, so make sure you follow bear rules! but it was a wonderful experience! will be back!
We had a great time at this cabin. The views were amazing to wake up to every morning, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch to drink coffee. The road is a bit winding to get to the cabin, but easily traversable for most cars. The hot tub was warm and clean, and the pool table was fun to play on. I'm sure you'll be informed if you decide to rent this cabin, but be prepared for encounters with bears in the area. We saw them every day we were in town, either on the road or on the property itself. Not saying it to deter, but just for awareness. Also, be aware of the staircase leading to the cabin. You are parked at the bottom of the hill and have to climb a rather significant staircase to get to the door, which can be an issue if you're carrying large/heavy luggage up and down. Other than that, it was an amazing and peaceful stay!
